    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    AMERICAN MLV Standard consists of a layer of tough, wear-resistant mineral-loaded vinyl. The vinyl is very dense and weighs 1 Lb. per square foot. Works great for soundproofing walls, ceilings and floors!

    SOUND BARRIER STANDARD

  • Roll size is: 48" x 25',
  • Density: 1 lb/square footl
  • Color: Black
  • Meets ASTM E90-75 ASTM E413-73
  • Material is considered non-flammable.
  • Fire Resistant SE “0”
  • Temperature Limits: Service range of -20° to 160° F.
  • Will not rot or disintegrate under adverse conditions Easy to install - may be cut with scissors or utility knife. Barrier is safe and non-toxic. Contains no asbestos or lead.
    Great at reducing airborne noise.

    Combine with resilient channel for decoupling and reducing structural noise. Used with resilient channel, an STC rating of 53-60 can be attained.
